There is a major difference between enjoying being around children, and pursuing a career working with or teaching young children. Early childhood is considered to be between the ages of birth to around 8 years old. During this time, children go through a plethora of different leaps of learning, emotions, and growth. Obtaining a child development education should only be pursued by those who understand that they themselves have a lot to learn before they begin teaching. They must learn all of the intricate changes that a young child undergoes, and learn how to effectively deal with each stage.
